Why am I living in a town with a population barely into the triple digits 

when I should be living in a city with millions of people?

Why am I not in New York right now?

I am a city girl living in the country, 

and I fear it's just not going well.

I dream of the rush of everything.

I long to live in a tiny apartment overlooking all the bright lights.

I want the noise, I want the crowd.
