Writing.  Literature.  Grammar: it’s what I do.  My passion, my feeling, my love, my everything.  It’s the way I express myself, the way I let go of things.  It’s the only thing that can make me feel human.  It takes care of me; it loves me, and it forever holds my heart.
Writing is simple, and yet, it makes you experience such complicated things.  Writing makes you cry; it makes you laugh, makes you sad, makes you smile; it makes you cherish life.  It makes you feel.
When I write, the entire world disappears.  Every stressor, every hardship goes down the drain.  When I’m not writing, I feel animalistic.  I feel kicked around, ashamed, and unreal.  My life and being depend on and revolve around writing.
Literature enlightens the soul.  It shows you the way to a great life, it teaches you how to live.  It’s a way of life.  You either do it and love it, or resist it and hate it.  There’s no in between.
When I read, I can escape.  There’s an alternate universe for everything you read.  It’s experiencing something new.  It’s taking the chance of receiving something amazing out of Life.
Grammar is a beautiful thing, although, in today's society, it's unheard of. Grammar is the true equivalent of intelligence. Without grammar, the most simple things in the world wouldn't make any sense. Many overlook grammar in writing, but writing isn't anything without the proper placement of punctuation, words, and correct spelling.
Maybe this is just the nerd inside of me coming out, but writing is everything important in this world.

  1. Hey I really like this post. It's one of my favorite ones so far! People are getting lazier these days. Grammar is slowly dying. Keep writing. It seems to be doing you some good.
