When I first got to college, I knew all of what I wanted out of life. I had the perfect boyfriend, the perfect idea for a career, the perfect plan for a family. After only a few days, everything I knew kinda just fell away. I became unsure about wanting any of the things I previously dreamed about.
I began wondering about what kind of job I wanted to do and if I could ever be successful.
I began wondering if I even wanted a family at all.
I began wondering about "clicking" with the "right" person.
It took me about three weeks to realize I had already "clicked" with someone almost two and a half years ago. I realized I needed to to what I love to do, then and only then would I be successful. I also realized that I definitely want a family, to be a stay at home mom, even.
So here's what I say: If you're unsure about something, don't give up and always go with your gut instinct, because chances are, you knew what you wanted all along.
